Basic concepts

 

The overall concept behind this highly acclaimed tour is to educate students  in important elements of science using on a fun hands on approach. We do this through providing a fascinating series of special demonstrations and hands on activities. Participants will be thrilled during an intensive 3 hour program that never fails to captivate, educate and inspire.

During the Explorer Tour at C.R.E.A.T.E, students will cover the following:


- Learn how aircraft & spacecraft work by applying Newton's laws of physics and Bernoulli's theorem.
- Learn new aerospace terminology, vocabulary and the parts of an aircraft.
- Learn about lighter than air aircraft and the relationships in thermodynamics.  
- Special video presentations on space flight and the International Space Station.

- A live demonstration of an interactive flight simulator system.
- A live demonstration of Bernoulli's theorem and the principles of flight.

- Build and fly a special model paper aircraft.
 

At the end of tour, students should understand the basic concepts of aerospace science in theory and practical terms.


Programme


We will customise the tour according to age group as follows:
4 to 9 years old.
10 to 12 years old.
13 to 18 years old.
